Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Download dynaimic from the App Store, tap "Sign in with Apple" on the welcome screen, and complete the short onboarding (goals, experience level, equipment, preferred session length). Your first workout is generated immediately.

How does workout generation work?

When you tap "Generate Today's Workout", dynaimic sends your profile, recent session history, and how you felt after your last workout to our coach engine. The engine builds a session tailored to today — load, volume, and recovery all adapt over time based on the feedback you give after each workout.

Generation typically takes 5–15 seconds. A loading indicator is shown while it runs.

What is the "How did it feel?" question for?

That's the core of dynaimic. Your honest answer — Too Easy, Just Right, or Crushed Me — directly shapes your next workout. Tell the truth, even on bad days. The coach needs accurate signal to dial in.

How do I switch coaches?

Tap the Coach tab → tap your coach card → "Switch coach" to see the full roster. Some coaches unlock at higher ranks; others are available with Premium.

Subscriptions & billing

What does Premium include?

Premium unlocks higher daily workout-generation limits, the full coach roster, advanced analytics with weekly summaries, Smart Sessions, and deeper adaptation tuning.

How does the free trial work?

Tap "Start Free Trial" on the paywall to begin a 7-day Premium trial. You won't be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically at the displayed monthly price.

You can cancel anytime during the trial in your iPhone Settings (see below).

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not in dynaimic:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Tap dynaimic
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You can also reach this page from inside the app: Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancelling before the renewal date stops the next charge; you keep Premium access until the current billing period ends.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

If you re-installed the app or switched devices, open Settings inside dynaimic and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription will reactivate based on your Apple ID.

I was charged but Premium isn't active

Tap Restore Purchases in Settings first. If that doesn't help, sign out and back in via Settings → Sign Out. If Premium still doesn't activate within 5 minutes, email us at support@dynaimicpt.com with your purchase receipt (visible in your Apple ID → Purchase History).

Account

I can't sign in with Apple

Make sure two-factor authentication is enabled on your Apple ID. If the Sign in with Apple sheet doesn't appear, quit the app fully (swipe up in App Switcher) and re-open. If the problem persists, restart your device, then email us — we'll help directly.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account permanently from inside the app:

  1. Open the Profile tab
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm twice (this can't be undone)

Deleting your account permanently removes all of your workout history, custom routines, measurements, profile data, and personal records from our servers. This is final — there is no recovery once confirmed.

If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it first via your iPhone Settings (see above) — account deletion does not cancel the subscription automatically.

If you can't reach the Delete Account button for any reason, email support@dynaimicpt.com from the address tied to your account and we'll process the deletion manually within 7 days.

Apple Health & permissions

What does dynaimic use Apple Health for?

With your permission, dynaimic can read your most recent body weight from the Health app (so you don't have to log it twice) and write completed workouts to Health as sessions. Both are optional. Decline either freely — the app fully functions without Health access.

If you accidentally denied the prompt, open the iPhone Settings app → Health → Data Access & Devices → dynaimic → enable the categories you'd like to share.

Privacy & data

How do I export my data?

Email support@dynaimicpt.com from your account email with the subject line "Data export request". We'll send a JSON export of your workouts, measurements, routines, and profile data within 30 days. This is your right under the GDPR and similar laws.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on our backend infrastructure operated by trusted cloud providers. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
